About

Light International, Msa, is a school for the community and as its alumni, we make it our mission to provide our environment with equal opportunity access to food, education and clothing. We are incredibly grateful for this opportunity, because there are many children in our area who's talents go untapped because they do not have enough resources.

Once a month, Light International Alumni Association hosts events such as Food and Clothing Drives in order to raise enough resources to share with our community. Moreover, some schools in the Mombasa area are independent startups created to make access to education easier for families of low-income. To help them with their goal, we volunteer to teach at their schools, donate storybooks and stationary, and help them find opportunities for their students at schools that are able to provide said resources. An example of this is teaching the students at Maweni Primary School, Information Computer Technology (ICT) lessons at Light International School's ICT Lab.
